NASRI FOR A PICK UP GAME AT MIDTOWN STADIUM INDOOR SOCCER

Arsenal

Nasri takes a corner kick for Arsenal
On 11 July 2008, Nasri signed for Arsenal from Olympique de Marseille on a long-term contract for about £12.7 million (€16 million). He made his Arsenal debut on 30 July against VfB Stuttgart in Germany, playing for around 60 minutes in the friendly encounter. He scored in his Premier League debut against West Bromwich Albion with a close range effort, after only four minutes of the first game of the season, on 16 August 2008. Although not yet confirmed by the club, it is believed to be the fastest goal ever scored by an Arsenal debutant.[6] On 27 August, Nasri made his Champions League debut in the 3rd Qualifying Round 2nd Leg against FC Twente, scoring in the 26th minute to mark his European debut the same way as he did with his league debut—with a goal. On 8 November 2008, Nasri scored both of Arsenal's goals in a 2–1 win over Manchester United.[7]
Nasri played his part in Arsenal's Round of 16 triumph over A.S. Roma and was deployed behind the strikers. On 11 March 2009, he converted his penalty in the shoot-out after drawing 1-1 on aggregate. Due to Nasri's versatility, he has been deployed all over the midfield.[8] On 21 March, Nasri made the scoresheet again as the Gunners defeated Newcastle 3–1 at St. James' Park.[9]

International career
Nasri has been involved in the French national set up for a long time, progressing through the Under-16s, 17s, 18s, 19s and 21s. He was part of the team that won the 2004 UEFA U-17 Championship, scoring the game-winning goal in the final match.

We thank Nasri for coming by to Midtown Stadium Indoor Soccer for a 5pm PickUp game.
